Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions about working with me? I've got answers.
Nope! I write about any topic that’s relevant to your business. If it’s way out of my comfort zone (i.e. something very technical), I may have to pass. But usually with enough research and collaboration with your subject matter experts, I can create content about the topics you need.
I’ve been writing online content for the last ten years, and advising companies on content strategy for the past four years.
I’ve worked with international organizations, mom and pop shops, super UX-savvy mobile app teams, direct-response publishers, and everything in between.
Since 2021, I’ve been working mainly with businesses that are mindful about their sustainability practices and/or positive social impact.
Exact rates depend on your business and the specific services you need, but you can get an indication of my rates on my services pages.
I'll be able to give you a customized quote for your project after a conversation.
There are a few steps to getting started on a project:
- Discovery call: First, we have a chat over Zoom or phone. We talk about your project needs and generally see if we’re a good fit. You can sign up for this via Calendly.
- Quote: If we think it’s a good fit, I’ll then give you a customized quote, or a full proposal, for the services I’d recommend. At this stage we’ll speak more in detail about the timeline and process for your project.
- Acceptance, contract, and 50% deposit: If you’d like to move forward, then I’ll send over a terms of agreement for you to sign, and an invoice for 50% of the project fee. Once I have the agreement signed and the invoice paid, I can get started!
Sure! Here you go.
You bet. I publish a monthly newsletter with content tips for marketers in the sustainability and impact space.
If nothing else, it’s a way for you not to forget me. Here’s where you can subscribe to that. Of course, you can easily unsubscribe any time you like.
Yes! I’d like that, too. You can book a complimentary call here.
I’m from Austin, Texas originally, but have lived in several cities around the world! I’m currently based in the Hague, Netherlands.
That's Central European Time Zone — the same time zone as France and Germany.
Even though I’m based in the Netherlands, many of my clients are based in the U.S. This is because I'm American myself and understand that market the best.
It’s usually easy enough to accommodate Eastern, Central, and even Mountain time zones. West Coast can be trickier to accommodate, unless you’re an early riser and are willing to do meetings at 8 am. (Kudos if you are!)
Maybe! Feel free to send me an email at email@example.com with a bit of info about your business and what you need. I’ll let you know if it makes sense to set up a call.
